We're honoured that Greater Manchester councils (AGMA) have partnered with us to create a progressive platform for up to 18 councils and other local government bodies using Contensis. Increasingly, public sector organisations are running joint procurement exercises (framework agreements) which not only provide a significant cost saving but also develop a culture of knowledge sharing between otherwise disparate teams.
First to adopt Contensis will be Trafford and Wigan councils - they're really cracking on with bringing their sites over to Contensis from their existing solutions. Their teams will be working together to share concepts and ideas - something which didn't happen so easily when they were running different systems.
We're excited to have the AGMA members' web teams become part of the Contensis community and we're sure they'll provide yet another positive influence to our Local Government clients and also the wider Contensis user base.
