2 in 1 deal for Contensis during May
It was a happy May 2010 for the team at Contensis with two University project wins in the space of 1 week
The University of Birmingham and King’s College London both chose Contensis after completing a competitive procurement procedure conducted in accordance with a Restricted Tender Procedure in compliance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 and Consolidated Procurement Directive 2004/18/EC.
The University of Birmingham required a Web Content Management System following a review of the University’s web strategy and governance which included a detailed analysis of functionality required by the external website www.bham.ac.uk
King’s College London required a web content management system for managing both the external and internal content of kcl.ac.uk.
The implementation of the CMS is to take place in parallel with the introduction of a new design for www.kcl.ac.uk
Mark Owen, University Account Manager said "We are delighted that both Universities have joined what is already an impressive list of University clients and their involvement will become an integral part of the on-going development of Contensis within the University, Public and Private sectors.
A major part of Genetics’ core working practice, is to work closely with all our clients and be perceived as a ‘best in class’ partner. This incorporates all of our service offerings from the project outset: The software product, project management, implementation & development teams, consultants, support team and account management.
The Contensis Content Management System is aimed at organisations that wish to make a significant initial investment in a highly effective CMS tool, one that uses mainstream technologies – Microsoft .NET, HTML, CSS, XML – technologies which match the skills employed in-house.
Since the release of version 6 of Contensis in early 2010 the uptake of our product has been dramatic".
