Customers often ask why end user training may be required?

For internet savvy users, they will be able to pick up and run with the user interface with virtually no training at all.

Having the training simply ensures, that they have covered all aspects of the normal system usage, ensures they are following best practise and gives you a formal starting point to start engaging with your users.

The end user training and train the trainer packages, are virtually identical, except that the train the trainer has some minor extensions, to assist trainers, in training others.

We often carry out end user training and trainers will simply sit in on the training to get to grips with Contensis and the training platform as a whole.

The end user training is normally carried out on site with customers. This is possible assuming you have a suitable training environment, with PC's, Browsers and Internet Access.

Our trainer will require a projector, available for the demonstration parts of the training.

To book training simply raise a ticket through the support system, as a client work request or contact your account manager.

The attendees of the first .Net developer training course held back in 2009

The developer training course is split into a .Net focused and non .Net focused course.

As you are probably aware Contensis can publish to any Webserver, so we could be training PHP Developers, .Net Developers or Java Developers for instance.

Whichever course you may want to attend, the Developer training must be carried out on-site at Contensis HQ. This is because we need specific software installed on the training PC's and a specific server configuration for each attendee.

Each attendee will have their own Contensis installation, that they will use over the 2 day course.

This course is designed to give you the basic grounding in all aspects that you would need to learn in order to develop any functionality that may be required for your project. Once you have attended this course, you will have the knowledge to be able to create modules in the same way we do for the Control Gallery for instance.

Because the Developer training is carried out on site, we tend to run a course around once a month on a specific date, although we can make more dates available depending upon availability. In order to book developer training you must contact your account manager.
