Creating a webpage is easy

Mike then chooses to create a webpage from the 'Academic Page Template' by using the Create Content Wizard.

Mike enters a title for the page. Intelligently the filename and menu name is automatically generated for him.

Mike then opens his page in the WYSIWYG editor to begin editing.

With the page open he makes a few text edits and then passes the content to Dan (the web editor) to add some imagery.

Dan (our friendly web editor) receives a useful email notification of his new task via his email client. It contains all the details he needs to get started.

Dan creates an images folder and then uses the Batch Import Wizard to import a series of useful images from his network.

Inserting images has never been easier. In Contensis you simply drag and drop and choose from a number of useful resize or edit options.

Dan chooses to crop the image. The crop area is automatically preset by the size available in the editable region which means you can always get an exact fit.

The image is inserted perfectly into the editable region. Importantly, the orginal image still remains available for use if needed later.

When Dan tries to submit the page for authorisation the automatic Quality Assurance Checker warns him of any quality issues. On this occasion it has picked up on some missing ALT text on the image.

With the error fixed the page can be submitted for authorisation. Any user with the correct authorisation permissions will then be notified by email.

Mike's just logged back into the CMS and he immediately previews the latest version of the webpage.

Everything looks good so Mike then decides to approve the webpage to the live website via the Approval screen.

Mike accesses the publishing screen via the Management Console (the hub of the Contensis CMS) so he can see when his new webpage goes live.
