The Steps to creating a new microsite.
Firstly, we must choose a template microsite folder. A microsite template can be any folder that has been marked as a microsoite template.
Create any number of microsite templates.
You can see in the screenshot shown that this microsite is being used for creating a new product section or to create a completely new country website for one of our customers.
In this case the options are fairly limited and there are only a few pages that will be created, but in another scenario, you could configure the microsite template folder with searches, sitemaps and any other components you choose.
Choosing a destination
This screenshot shows the second step, allowing the user to select the microsite destination
Once you have selected the template to use, you must then choose where you want the microsite to be created. In essence you can create a microsite anywhere where you have folder admin privileges.
Setting up Groups
The final step of the wizard allows you to customise the group names that are created and assigned for permissions and workflow in the new microsite. If you are happy, just leave the defaults in place, click finish and the new microsite is ready for content to be added.
