HTML Snippets - Allowing re-use of content anywhere on a site
HTML Snippets allow users of the CMS to create a piece of HTML-based content and then re-use it throughout a site. You may, for example, have a piece of content that you want to use again and again, but you just want a single point of editing and authorisation.

An HTML Snippet, like any other piece of content has a full workflow, versioning and audit trail.
The content can be created anywhere in the site structure and then simply dragged and dropped into other web pages.
We can see from the screenshot that the content appears just like any other piece of content. Once the content is created, any user can drag and drop it into their webpage.
The beauty of this content from a Content Management perspective is that you are establishing a single point of truth for the content. On this site we use this feature when we want to bring content in that is relevant in different places. For example, the Permissions page has a paragraph and heading called 'Securing your search', but you can also see this content on the Search Module page .
