Developer's Perspective

Feature for your website, intranet or portal
Every organisation has unique systems and requirements – Contensis has been built with the tools and flexibility to be tailored to each scenario.

We don’t lock everything away, your in-house development team can have full access to the API, anything we can do with it, they can – we used the Contensis API to build the CMS itself.

The focus for developers also includes:

Structured Content

Use XML to create custom structured content forms within Contensis. Publish the data to your website so that it is accessible to the webpage. As the data is run through the CMS it is versioned and simple to administer.

Custom Code

Input your own VB.NET into each page template. Work with event handlers or edit portions of the page, providing flexibility and control over the content that is published.

Contensis API

The Contensis API is easy to use, logical and partitioned well with logical naming spaces. The API consists of high-level services providing complete control over all aspects of Contensis. The functional areas include the ability to work with folders, security, web pages and most other content types.
