The Local View Menu Content control renders only the current folder content part of the normal Local View Menu. This provides some flexibility with your menu layout.

Normal Local View Menu:

Navigational Controls

The Local View Menu Content control must be used with a Local View Menu (above). It renders links to content of the current folder just like the normal Local View Menu control, but allows you to move these links to a different place in your template.

The Local View Menu Content:

Accordion Menu

Description: The Accordion Menu control is similar to the simple menu but allows the user to open and close folders without navigating away from the page. Folders open/close with an accordion-style slide animation using either onClick or onHover events.

Breadcrumb XML

Description: The Breadcrumb XML control provides a neat breadcrumb trail to show the pages location within the website structure and a way for the user to navigate back towards the website homepage.

Dynamic Jump menu

Description: The Dynamic Jump Menu creates a ordered or unordered bullet list of the specified headings on your page and treats those as anchors. You can set what headings you want to be able to navigate to and if you want 'Back to top' links.

Folder Summary List

Description: The Folder Summary List control can be pointed at a set of folders and will provide a heading from the folder name with a description taken from the folder's homepage. A host of useful options also make this a flexible alternative when creating lists.

Local View Menu

Description: The Local View Menu control is so called because it only shows the current folder and content and its directly related parent folders. It is a similar concept to a breadcrumb navigation. This simplified form of a menu removes clutter (non-related folders and content) from view, allowing a user to focus on the current folder contents and also providing a quick way to navigate back.

Description: The Local View Menu UL control is so called because it only shows the current folder and content and its directly related parent folders. It is a similar concept to a breadcrumb navigation. This simplified form of menu removes clutter (non-related folders and content) from view.

Quicklinks Menu

Description: The Quick Links Menu control provides a dropdown menu of pages within a folder. It allows a user to navigate to a particular page by selecting the item in the dropdown and clicking go.

Simple Menu XML

Description: The Simple Menu XML retrieves its information from the published navigation XML file. It provides a nested bullet list of pages, folders that have homepages and any other content types that are set to 'Show In Menu'.
