Front-end editing prototyped

The Contensis front-end editing system is now in the middle stages of development, it will provide tools for directly creating and updating website content and will especially be useful for those wishing to give community users editing powers.

To produce the best possible results the development team and project implementation team have worked closely on this build to provide an interface that really extends the Contensis CMS. This will provide a new dimension to the typical user workflow and will introduce opportunities for your web community, social network and internal staff enabling them to update content by simply navigating to the areas they know.

Here's a first look at what we're building...

Toolbar from the left...

Front End Sneak Peak

Toolbar from the right...

Front End Sneak Peak 2

As you can see the editing toolbar will hover nicely at the bottom of your webpage as you navigate through your site. The toolbar provides useful information about editing options and the page status.

Feel free to post your feedback and comments on what options you would like to see, we're always excited to receive your ideas and suggestions!

Looks good Dan. Is this going to be part of the standard enterprise licence? Cheers Craig

Yes. When released front-end editing will be a standard component of the enterprise license. Thanks Dan
